QUALITY PLANNING & CUSTOMER SERVICE

We require an experienced Quality Planning & Customer Service team member who will be responsible for:
- Ensuring that our products, processes and systems are in compliance with customer’s and Starlim North America requirements and standards.
- Assist with the design, specification, development, and procurement of inspection, measuring, and testing systems for special machine parts and conduct and coordinate internal/ external audits.
- The implementation of quality control systems while working with Production and Process Teams in order to maintain Starlim’s high level of quality.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Lead role for quality (APQP/Qualification) for new projects
- APQP function with customer interaction
- Internal audits for products and processes
- Assist in achieving compliance to management system requirements
- Timely customer response to include 8 D’s, PPAP’s
- Calibration of equipment
- SPC, Process Capability Assessment, GR&R
- Work closely with Process Teams regarding test results and continuous improvements
- Prepare inspection certificates for customers
- Interpretation of design print and specifications
- Complaint management
- Root cause analyses and corrective actions
- Provide production team member training for defects
- Should conduct other work activities according to established job instructions and follow procedures and practices of Starlim North America Corporation
- Support Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives throughout the facility, ensuring safety, housekeeping and quality standards are maintained
Do you have?
- College diploma required, university degree preferred
- Certified Quality Engineer or ASQ designation preferred
- 4 years’ experience as a quality planner & project quality member or quality claim member or equivalent working experience in a Quality role
- Experience with Root Cause Analysis, failure mechanism
- Experience with automotive quality requirements as PPAP, 8D, CSR, FMEA, APQP, Control Plans
- Experience working with customers resolving quality issues
- Working knowledge of SPC and the usage of it
Successful candidate will also:
- Work effectively with customers and suppliers
- Have excellent interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel, Power Point, and customer quality software packages
- Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
- Must be able to work all shifts including days, afternoons, nights, and weekends
