In addition to our exemplary service, we provide opportunities for individuals to enter the workforce. Clean Works is recruiting for a Working Lead Hand, Cleaner/Supervisor.

The successful candidate will be the individual who has a "can-do" attitude, is a self-starter, has strong relational skills and will do whatever is necessary to ensure that a job is done right and the customer is delighted. You are able to lead and supervise through example and have a way of inspiring people to improved performance in their roles. You are a “Player–Coach", both doing the work and supervising the team to ensure all tasks are completed.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Manage On-Site Crew to provide Quality control on site

• Conduct end-of-shift inspections to ensure completion of all tasks

• Troubleshoot and solve any issues arising with staff or equipment

• Communicate with Operations Assistant with respect to any site, staff or equipment issues

• Complete all allocated cleaning tasks

• Transport staff from pick-up site to cleaning site in Company Van

• Wide knowledge and experience with floor machines and cleaning chemical processs

• Able to work safely and utilize appropriate PPE and safety measures

Must-have skills and experience

• Previous successful experience in the cleaning industry

• Some floor experience with stripping and refinishing (industry knowledge)
• Previous successful experience supervising staff teams would be an asset.

• Clear Criminal Record (Record check required)

• Valid G license with clear abstract required, access to a vehicle is an asset

• Available for midnight shifts

• Valid 1^st Aid CPR training is an asset

• Excellent references with record of honesty and dependability
