Job Description

Responsibilities:

Overview:
• Support sales and manufacturing.
• Create electrical wiring drawings / electrical BOM’s.
• Control / Design of Wiring Harness Sales:
• Review submittals and create proper wiring diagrams and part numbers.
• Correct and review with sales any discrepancies, issues or questions.
• Provide technical support to sales on any questions with orders, submittals or specs.
• Provide pricing and details on any parts not standard to sales as necessary to their quote. • Work directly with agents on technical questions when requested by sales.
• Review Work Orders for proper function, parts or any discrepancies.
• Inform sales of any questions or concerns with the Works Orders.
• Put together wiring diagrams & Electrical BOM’s for Work Orders.
• Control contractors liason.
o Create and approve wiring diagrams.
o Confirm parts to be used, who is providing them, and approve them for use with related job.
o Coordinate with controls contractor to get parts to factory by deadline. o Receive the controls as they arrive, check quality and quantity of sent parts, label and shelve parts.
o Provide information (CIS) on the controls to production.
o Work with production on the installation of the parts.
o Communicate with control contractors on the progress and any issues during the production process.
o Support control contractor on site as necessary.

• File and organize Work Orders and paperwork as necessary.

Production:
• Provide production proper wiring diagrams, labels and any info related to the Work Orders.
• Create serial labels, including electrical load calculations and proper identification, for units.
• Support production with technical information, including job specific controls and sequence of operations.
• Support production with issues related to the Work Order.
• Work with production on electrical box layout.
• Fix BOM discrepancies
• Work with Production on probe locations.

Electrical Software:
• Learn Promise-E electrical software eg. Panel layout & diagrams
• Learn M3/LSO system • Build base templates • Learn advanced features of program and implement Other:
• Work with purchasing in dealing with suppliers on parts to be used and in the pricing of parts.
• Work/meet with all departments on many issues related to the sales, manufacturing and servicing of our product.
• Work with manufacturing in efficiencies and cost reduction.
• Participate in future standardization of wiring and component locations.
• Update Production spreadsheets for use within manufacturing enviroment
