Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Completion of high school - Specialization or Experience
- Stainless steel equipment, Sheeting and cladding, Decorative metal sheets, Custom sheet metal items, Dust and fume collection system, Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system

- Installation, Shop fabrication, Service, Repair, On-site fabrication, Retrofit
- Specific Skills
- Measure and mark sheet metal according to template, Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal, Grind and buff seams, joints and rough surfaces, Inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specification, Operate plasma cutters, Develop computerized pattern and layout, Cut materials using power tools or by hand, Fit and join sheet metal parts, Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes
- Welding Techniques
- Gas metal ARC (GMAW) (MIG)
- Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- Sheet Metal Worker Trade Certification, 1st Period Apprentice, 2nd Period Apprentice, 3rd Period Apprentice, 4th Period Apprentice, 5th Period Apprentice, Canadian Welding Bureau Certification, Occupational Health and Safety Certificate, CPR Certificate,Driver's License, First Aid Certificate
