Job Description
Inventory Control/Customer Liaison
Summary of DutiesThis newly created position will report to the Director of Warehousing and is responsible for managing and ensuring appropriate inventory levels.
The Customer Liaison portion of this position is to become the liaison for Canusa to all Corporate Stores, Associates and other APC customers.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to; ensuring accurate and seamless reception and processing of products, ability to understand the impact of this position to other business functions that depend on the accuracy and efficiency of stocked products.
Job Duties
- Review and confirm variances and ‘No Finds’
- Adjust variance stock and no finds in or out
- Responsible for inventory at the warehouse
- Oversee and assist in inventory management and warehouse revamp
- Responsible for the investigation and adjustments of no finds and daily invoices
- Work with the revamp personal to organize the warehouse adequately and efficiently
- Ensure sufficient space for newly acquired products
- Complete cycle counts periodically throughout the year
- Recounts on a regular basis
- Bin locating and inventory reporting
- Work with the RF gun to complete rotating cycle counts throughout the year
- Use CAPP computer system to print essential reports (I.E. min – max for revamp)
- Special projects as directed
- Recommend system improvements
- Send daily communication reports to all Supervisors and Management
- Communicate line re-vamp requirements to the Director of Warehousing
- Meet weekly with the Director of Warehousing
- Conduct periodic spot checks of misplaced stock
- Assess and conduct a formal inventory at least once annually
- Maintain and control inventory levels to meet internal and external demands of product; ingoing and outgoing
- Other duties as required
The individual we are seeking for Inventory Control/Customer Liaison will possess the following attributes and skills in order to maintain and preserve successful operation of Canusa’s warehouse by having the capability to facilitate all warehouse distribution functions.

- Strong knowledge of warehouse documentation, with good writing skills
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with individuals at all levels of the organization

- Excellent planning and resource allocation skills
- Overtime as required
