Accounting Manager
Global Warranty, one of North America's largest and most successful automotive aftermarket companies, is seeking an individual to join our London Head Office Team in an Accounting capacity.

Global Warranty, one of North America's largest and most successful automotive aftermarket companies, is seeking an individual to join our London Head Office Team in an Accounting capacity.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable and accounts receivable and financial reporting
- Create and implement accounting policies and procedures
- Help to design reports that will streamline processes and reporting functions
- Maintain reconciliation and analysis of all general ledger accounts to support financial statements
- Oversee Data Entry, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Review monthly billing invoices to ensure accuracy
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, year-end statements (including all supporting schedules) and all other required monthly reports
- Perform monthly reconciliation of bank accounts.
- Prepare annual year-end financial reporting and provide all information for external auditors for financial statements and tax filings
- Processing of payroll and all related payroll reporting
- Prepare monthly government filings including HST
- Supervise accounting staff (3)
- Initiate and maintain ongoing communications related to departments, customers and suppliers to verify the accuracy of information. Investigate and correct errors while noting and referring unusual discrepancies to senior staff
Skills and experience will include:
- Post-secondary degree in Accounting, Business Administration or a related field and/or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Accounting designation or in the process of obtaining your CGA, CMA or CA designation (senior level)
- 3-5 years of providing full cycle accounting
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel
- Good working knowledge of SAGE ACCPACC accounting package would be an asset
- Excellent planning and communication skills, both written & oral
- Must be an analytical thinker with sound problem solving skills
