JOB OVERVIEW
We are currently seeking a motivated and energetic Sales Development Coordinator with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to join our dynamic organization in a full time capacity. As the ideal candidate, you will have a proven track record of sales success though effective cold calling and marketing. Your enthusiastic sales approach will generate product awareness and increased revenue to new customers
POSITION SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of this key position is to contact (by telephone), both private and public organizations and identify/secure high quality sales leads which will then be managed by our Account Executives. The successful candidate will investigate the potential client’s current and future IT requirements that could ultimately be satisfied through Protek’s many exceptional service offerings. As the successful candidate, you will also manage the information gathered and kept in the company database.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES
• Book appointments and demonstrations/presentations for the Outside Sales Team
• Ability to articulate our IT Solutions value proposition
• Meet or exceed targets and expectations.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports.
• Keep abreast of changes in technology, competitive services and industry trends and possess an ability to perform business analyses of a customer’s IT requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
• At least 2 years of proven sales prospecting results through professional and effective telephone marketing
• Exceptional communicator and team player with strong interpersonal skills
• The ability to work successfully with all levels of management within an organization, including Protek’s Account Executives, is essential
• At least 2 years experience using Microsoft productivity tools such as Word, Excel, Exchange and others
• A fluent command of the English language both oral and written is a requirement
Completion of high school (mandatory) and some relevant post-secondary education preferred
