Autotube Limited, a small progressive auto parts manufacturer, with facilities in Strathroy and Watford Ontario, has an opening for a Quality Department Assistant

The successful candidate must have the following:

·        Experience dealing with automotive quality documents such as control plans, PFMEA’s and standard operating procedures.

·        Have some exposure to quality systems such as TS-16949 or ISO-9000

·        Have previously dealt with automotive manufacturers such as GM Ford and Chrysler

·        Enjoy working in a fast paced and dynamic environment

·        Possess experience in accurate measuring using precision instruments

·        Be capable of reading and understanding  blueprints

·        Have great computer skills particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word

·        Be able to work with minimal supervision and be a fast learner

This is a hands-on position supporting more senior Quality Staff.  The job will involve considerable repetitive measuring and data entry tasks.

A small amount of travel (20km) between our two facilities will be required, along with periodic requirements to travel to customer or supplier facilities in North America
