Our client is searching for an experienced Architectural Technologist /Draftsman to join their team on a permanent basis. The job encompasses the Drafting of all construction projects to achieve profitability. This position coordinates and communicates effectively with the Drafting Supervisor, Project Managers, Project Coordinators, fellow Draftsmen, Plant and Site Labourers.
This position could move into a project coordinator role.

Responsibilities:
- Create weekly to do lists for personal drafting projects
- Create, update and follow drafting standards
- Create shop drawings; First Submittals, 2nd Submittals, Sheet layouts, Quantity Reports, Site Dimensions, for Construction, Fabrication Tickets and as Built Drawings
- Make sure projects are done with the right content and in a timely manner
- Follow schedules in coordination with the Drafting Supervisor
Requirements:
- 1-2 years minimum Autocad 2011LT experience (outside of school courses)
- Experience with Revit and Inventor is required
- Attain profitability on all projects under drafting estimates
- Must have Construction knowledge
- Complete on time drafting
- Demonstrate leadership and team work
- Education related courses in Architectural Program is REQUIRED
- Follow corporate policies and procedures
- A criminal background check will be required as part of the hiring process, and must come back clear

- Starting salary $37,000
