Distribution Supervisor – Brantford - Contract
About the Company:
Sunrise 3PL distribution facility, located in Brantford, Ontario, service clients with the mission of ‘providing the highest quality products with exceptional service and great value for its customers'.
Position:
The distribution supervisor is responsible for ensuring the appropriate and timely arrival, storage, shipping and delivery of raw ingredients, materials and finished goods in and out of the distribution facility.
The position is approximately a 2 month contract position, shift rotation of two weeks days and two week afternoons.

Key Responsibilities
- Decisions on storage and delivery of food to ensure no shorts/production interruptions & FIFO is being utilized
- Interaction with all third party customers
- Adherence to quality standards, safety programs, HACCP and CFIA requirements
- Monitors inventories and ensures orders placed
- Establishes and ensures productivity goals are achieved
- Development, implementation and monitors all maintenance, safety, sanitation and legislative requirements
- Manages Pallet inventory
Qualifications:
- Completion of post-secondary education in shipping / warehousing management or a related field of study ; and/or equivalent related work experience
- Must have Acellos or WMS experience
- Excellent oral & written communication skills combined with superior organizational skills
- Effective analyzing and problem solving skills
- Flexible - Able to work well under pressure
- Strong management and leadership experience
- Familiarity with HACCP and SQF 2000
- Financial and administration experience
