EMPLOYEE RELATIONS OFFICER
(Temporary Assignment to 2018 August 31)

                                                                      

Reporting to the Manager of Human Resource Services, the Employee Relations Officer assists with the contract administration; conducts labour relations and market research; assists in negotiation; and participates in policy development.  In addition, the Employee Relations Officer will provide support for projects as assigned. The ideal applicant has superior interpersonal, organizational and time-management skills with proven ability to multi-task under strict deadlines.
                                                                                               
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Completion of a four year degree in human resources management, business or social sciences or equivalent, combined with a minimum of three years related work experience, ideally in a unionized environment.
 
RATE OF PAY:             32.37 per hour
 
DATE OF VACANCY:  To be determined
