Position Summary

To provide day to day HR administrative support and contribute to the long-term development of the HR function.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR team including:
  • Filing, copying, faxing, scanning
  • Process and prepare required paperwork
  • Organizing and maintaining employee files
  • Collecting and organizing required documentation from employees
  • Requires use of an HRIS system
  • Working with and communicating to all parts of the business
  • Provide recruitment administrative support
  • Complete Phone Screens on potential Candidates
  • Arrange interviews
  • Process background and education verification checks
  • Track Requisition progress
  • Process and track all new hire materials and supporting documentation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with various business management
  • Coordinating logistics for HR programs
  • Keeping our internal communications board up to date/current
  • Assist in company events (support)
  • All other duties as assigned
  Requirements
  • Completion of High School diploma
  • Current enrollment or completion of Human Resources or other relevant program in a post-secondary institution
 
Desired Skills
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in HRIS systems is considered an asset
  • High level of confidentiality
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A positive attitude and willing to take on challenge
  • The ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • The ability to work accurately, with attention to detail
