Job Description
Family Service Thames Valley is a not-for-profit multi-service agency that exists so that people have the strength, skills, and confidence to deal with life’s opportunities and challenges, moving toward emotional, psychological, interpersonal and financial well being. FSTV serves diverse individuals, couples, families, organizations and communities with a particular focus on reducing barriers to access for those people who may be marginalized or disadvantaged.
The successful candidate will be a highly organized individual who is able to multi-task in a highly sensitive environment. The Executive Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Executive Director and the Board of Directors. Under the direction of the Director of Finance this position supports the administrative functions of the agency including: administrative support to the Human Resources functions, facility repairs & maintenance, IT and voice communications systems.
The ideal candidate will have:
· Post secondary education in Business or Office Administration
· At least 5 years experience providing support at the executive level
· Experience supporting a Board of Directors
· Proficiency with IT office systems and databases
· Proficiency in Microsoft office
· Previous experience with HR functions (payroll, benefits, records)
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Self motivated and self-directed
