TransForm Automotive has an opportunity for an entry level Quality Engineer for our London, Ontario facility.
 
We are a leader in the advanced metal forming industry and recruiting to hire a dynamic and results oriented Quality Engineer to join our team to support business growth and new product line launch. 

Successful candidates for this growth oriented entry level position will be responsible for the following scope of work:
1. Departmental and Customer Process monitoring on as-needed basis

• Issue internal CARs, follow up to ensure closure, updating CAR database system
• Respond to and follow up external customer concerns and Corrective Action Requests  (example: GM PRR process, Ford QR process)

 2. Analyze parts and processes determining root causes for non-conformities and recommend solutions.

• Review and approve supplier PPAP’s
• Create and complete customer PPAP’s
• Assist in development of PFMEA/Control Plan, conduct or assist in maintenance of PFMEA including but not limited to reviews
• Liaise with purchasing for the development and evaluation of supplier services & issue, follow up and closure of corrective actions

 3. Continue to improve and maintain Quality program.

•  Analyze Datamyte data and make recommendations for process adjustments / improvements
• Perform internal audits to applicable standards
• Conduct all work activities in a manner that is supportive of lean operating principles, team effort and promotes the company’s operational visions, values, and goals

 
This position requires a Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Problem solving, time management, planning, and leadership, are essential. Must be able to effectively communicate (verbally and written) with plant management, department supervisors and hourly employees on various equipment issues.  Candidate must display proficiency in computer applications.
