Pathways Employment Help Centre is hiring a Digital Marketing and Engagement Specialist.
 
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Business Development and Communications Coordinator, the Digital Marketing & Engagement Specialist will work collaboratively with all departments and social enterprises, to elevate the awareness of Pathways services and support the organization’s business priorities.

You are a master storyteller and able to connect the dots to illuminate possibilities.
You write for various audiences, designing digital and print media, and managing digital campaigns. 
You work collaboratively and independently. 
You are goal oriented and enjoy working with multiple brands. 
 
Qualifications: 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years equivalent experience working in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field.
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Marketing or Communications
  • Strong communications skills with experience writing and developing visual content for multiple audiences, including business to business marketing
  • Working knowledge of Google AdWords, Facebook Ads, Squarespace & WordPress 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of web programs and social media networks including Google, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and social media management systems (Hootsuite).
  • Ability to prioritize projects, manage multiple deadlines simultaneously, meet objectives in an exciting and agile environment, thrive in change and ambiguity, and handle shifting demands with ease.
  • Proficient in Canva and familiar with Adobe Creative Suite, including Acrobat, InDesign and Lightroom.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Video editing experience an asset
  • Willingness to try new things 
This is what you will do: 
  • Create a broad range of content that creatively expresses the mission, vision and values of the organization, showcasing our programs. With the support of relevant team members, you will write and design content we share with clients, partners, funders and community members.
  • Maintain a unified brand voice across all Pathways brands and social media channels 
  • Develop and maintain editorial calendar for social media, considering engagement trends and metrics.
  • Design marketing materials for programs, including: Employment Services, Skills Training, the Advocacy Centre, London Community Woodshop and Clean Works.
  • Communicate with our community, both internal and external, through social media, events, newsletters, and other platforms.
  • Represent Pathways at events and in the community.
