The key responsibilities for this position include:
Product Specialist, Forestry and Accessories
The key responsibilities for this position include:
- Define product strategy and roadmap in order to ensure strong annual growth in sales
- Provide input regarding expansion of accessory and safety apparel range and introduce new products where necessary
- Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements
- Develop key content to educate dealers and sales force on new products, pricing, etc.
- Chair bi-monthly accessory product committee meetings as well as presentations to our sales and technical teams
- Conduct regular analysis of product performance
- Maintain an on line accessory catalog
- Responsible for accessory sections of all major Marketing promotions
- Stay on top of and ensure that all relevant information is gathered from competitors
- Maintain on-line Accessory catalogue
Qualifications include:
- Post-Secondary education in a Business/Marketing related field
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with attention to detail
- Excellent Excel skills
- Demonstrated high level of analytical, problem solving, decision-making and results oriented skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines effectively with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to deal with and manage confidential information at all levels
- Knowledge of the Outdoor Power Equipment industry would be an asset
- Familiarity with various markets across Canada; logging, landscaping, clearing saw, arborist, etc would be an asset but is not mandatory
- Bilingualism would be an asset but not mandatory
- Travel to trade shows and some field travel required ( 10-15 over nights a year)
