Inteqna, London office, is currently recruiting for an Associate Manager, Internal Audit Methodology & Standards for one of our clients located in London, Ontario. This is a permanent position with one of London's most reputable organizations. Responsibilities:
-        Review and update internal audit methodology to ensure adherence with the Institute of Internal Auditors Professional Practices Framework and other regulatory requirements.
-        Review a sample of internal audit files from all locations to ensure files are in adherence with internal audit methodology and that methodology is applied consistently.
-        Assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the processes carried out by the internal audit department, highlighting both its strengths and opportunities for improvement.
-        Assist in the completion of the annual self assessment required by the Institute of Internal Auditors.
-        Review the annual planning process completed by the Internal Audit department for consistency among the locations and adherence with Internal Audit methodology.
-        Identify potential training opportunities for the department and facilitating the training process.
 
Requirements:
-        Professional accounting or auditing designation (i.e. CPA, CA, CMA, CGA, CIA). or very close to completion.
-        3 + years of experience in auditing, with preference given to senior experience in an auditing role.
-        Knowledge of the Institute of Internal Auditors Professional Practices Framework.
-        Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
-        Exceptional interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated ability to work within high-performance teams as well as independently.
-        Superior analytical and organizational skills; ability to handle multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
-        Proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel.
-        Willingness to travel (average 2-3 times per year).
