Position Summary:
 
As a member of the Systems Integration and Test group, we want someone who will work alongside our Product Delivery and Technical Operations teams to integrate our inhouse software with third party software and hardware solutions.  We want someone who won’t settle for easy answers and craves a deeper level of understanding when they uncover a bug.  We want someone who will challenge us to get better, and we’ll challenge you to get better in return.

Our ideal candidate has experience integrating existing solutions with next generation infrastructure. You can expect to provide your knowledge and leadership to the migration, automation and deployment of our software solutions with infrastructure such as Amazon Web Services and other IaaS / 3rd party offerings.
 
Our Product Delivery teams are exposed to the entire software development lifecycle from requirements analysis, systems architecture, test design, deployment and automation.  Expect to contribute to varying levels of system architecture design, modeling and documentation, requirements analysis based on internal and external customer needs, design and automation of systems configuration and deployment methods, integration of CDN developed and external software components, system test design and automation, performance, capacity, scalability and related analysis, software development and integration of tools for analysis and test, and troubleshooting production issues as escalated by support teams. 
 
Position Responsibilities:
 

• Work as part of a cross functional team in an Agile software development environment.
• Develop flexible build and deployment automation to support the development, continous integration, and wide scale deployment of our systems.
• Develop and integrate tools that allow us to validate the performance, reliability, scalability, capacity, security of our solutions. Analyze the results and understand what they’re telling us. Help us to better understand what the limits of our software are and how that impacts the big picture.
• Participate in the administration, design and automation of systems configuration and deployments.  Provide support to our Operations and Development teams, helping to debug and troubleshoot escalated issues.

 
Education and Experience:
 

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant industry experience.
• 5 years' experience with multiple technologies such as PHP, HTML5, RDF, Javascript, CSS, Python, Java, databases (both SQL and non-SQL) are all desirable.
• Prior experience with build and release tools, such as Jenkins, Hudson, Maven, Ansible and hands-on experience using public-cloud based IaaS offerings would be preferred.
• A basic understanding of Agile methodologies, and what it means to work in an Agile based environment, would be helpful.
• Applicants without Linux experience will not be considered. Be prepared for us to test you on this.
