Job Description
CNC Manufacturing Engineer
On behalf of our client, a global supplier of high precision engine components such as severe-duty and high performance valve train, fuel injection components for heavy equipment within the agricultural, construction, marine, and transportation industries; we are supporting their recruit for a licensed machinist with at least 5 years of working CNC programming and operating experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering Technology AND Machinist License
- 5+ Years of Experience as a CNC Operator / Programmer
- Ability to interpret blue prints and designing machining fixtures and cutting tools
- Confident in securing quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
- Leadership experience such as training, creating work instructions and SOP’s
- Trained in TS or IATF 16949
Experience in the following areas would be considered strengths:

- identifying best tooling for the process and machining of castings
- working with tooling suppliers to optimize machining process
- troubleshooting machining issues
- develop a cost and quality efficient production flow
- continuous improvement tools and principles, FMEA
- machining and robotic cell design and layout
- performing in CAM preparation
- performing cycle time studies
