Job Description
Commercial Embroidery Machine Operator
Express Employment Professionals are currently recruiting for our client in East London for a Commercial Embroidery, Machine Operator to start immediately. This position is a full-time, evaluation hire opportunity; Successful applicants would have previous machine operation experience and or related factory experience.Job Duties may include but not limited to:
- Operate embroidery machine or custom sewing machine experience
- Machine maintenance including: oiling, re-threading, changing bobbins etc.
- Detailed quality inspection of material coming out of machine
- Prepare (hooping and framing) all type of garments including hats for embroidery
- Maintain quality and efficient embroidery production
- Provide general assistance in other areas of production as needed
- Ideally 3 to 6 months of previous factory related experience
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Able to lift 20-30 lbs. consistently over 8 hours
- Steel Toe Boots – CSA Certified
- Own Transportation Required
Wage is $15.00 per Hour + 4% Vacation Paid through Express Weekly
Overtime after 44 hours worked weekly
