Job Description
Our client, a locally owned and operated company who has been in business for over 60 years is looking for an Office Administrator/Customer Service Representative. If you have superior Customer Service skills as well as experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll please contact us right away! What We Have To Offer:
- Fulltime, On-going Position
- $16 to $17 per hour (Depending on Experience)
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00 pm (37.5 hours per week)

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable
- Payroll (12-15 employees)
- Reconcile and prepare Government Remittances
- Answer phones, refer calls to other staff, take messages
- Take detailed information for quote requests, and information for material orders
- Deal directly with walk-in clients, answer questions about our products / services
- Assist customers with calculations for amount of material needed to complete the job
Job Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Bookkeeping practices - knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Procedures, and relevant legislation and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency with MS Office, with emphasis on Excel & Outlook
- Preference will be given to candidate with a working knowledge of SAGE - Simply Accounting
- Must have the aptitude and ability to learn other computer applications as required
- Math skills are a must - fractions are used extensively for calculations
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Knowledge of Construction Industry and experience dealing with Contractors would be an asset.
- Completion of High School or equivalent and/or relevant work experience and training
