RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maplewood is evolving its existing Student Information System (SIS) into a new technology stack to meet the demands of our interactive customer experience. We are looking for an Angular JS Developer who has a passion for technology and can think critically about performance, security, scalability and reliability of software. Additionally you have designed and implemented fast and efficient software solutions using object oriented languages utilizing relational/non-relational databases.

The position’s primary focus is to implement user interface elements in the form of a desktop web application, with a focus on performance and security. The incumbent will work within a team environment with services integration, API and database developers and communicate with the API using standard methods.

· Develop highly interactive and secure web applications utilizing JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, JSON, Angular JS, Angular material & later versions - Integrating Restful API’s for internal and external web services ensuring high performance.

· Translate functional/nonfunctional requirements into systems requirements validating user actions on the client side and providing responsive feedback.

· Meet with project stakeholders to discuss their vision and ideas to create compelling digital experiences. Translate design patterns into application architectures.

· Create custom general use modules and components extending the elements and modules of core Angular JS.

· Write front end use cases to meet critical business requirements. Resolve existing front end issues, owning assignments and see through to completion and execution.

· Collaborate with development teams to provide clear concise directions on solutions delivery that can be reusable, testable and efficient.

· Aid web app development team in continuing to add features and creating innovative solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:
 

· Deep knowledge of Angular JS best practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience creating self-contained, reusable and testable modules and components.

· A deep understanding of web technology stack including extensive experience in Angular JS stack

· Knowledge of highly interactive web apps (HTML, JavaScript, Angular JS)

· Knowledge on how to integrate web applications with Restful API’s

· Knowledge of UI design best practices

· Good Knowledge of Relational and Non-relational databases

· Knowledge of VB.NET and C#.NET development and Visual Studio would be nice to have
