Product Validation Test Engineer
Salford Group is looking for a Product Validation Engineer to join the engineering team at the Salford, Ontario Head Office. The Product Validation Engineer will lead the product validation program working with all departments to validate and continuously improve our products and provide the best customer experience possible. The Product Validation Engineer will develop and maintain testing standards and come up with new concepts and best practices in validating ag machinery performance.

The Product Validation Engineer will lead the product validation program working with all departments to validate and continuously improve our products and provide the best customer experience possible. The Product Validation Engineer will develop and maintain testing standards and come up with new concepts and best practices in validating ag machinery performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans in field and lab
- Hands on testing of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical systems
- Validate ag machinery meets field performance goals
- Detailed reporting of testing procedures and results
- Participate in setting product performance standards
- Create and maintain testing schedule to meet product release dates
- Identify new test equipment and processes to improve the validation program
- Agricultural background – must be able to relate to day-to-day crop production activities
- 3-5+ years’ experience in ag or off-road mobile test engineering role
- Strength in both leading and providing ‘hands on’ approach
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage project timelines
- Proven troubleshooting, organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Effective leader and comfortable working with all levels and departments of the corporation
- Strong communication skills, written and oral, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Engineering Diploma/Degree
