Job Description

Our client in London, Ontario is currently seeking a full-time 
Payment Processing Clerk on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and problem solving skills.

 

Duties (may include and not limited to)

  • Accounts Payable duties 
  • Provide high customer service to customers/ clients and handle any disputes that may arise
  • Communication with customers/clients as needed through all phone, email and fax 
  • Working with company database
  • Working independently and in a team 
  • Report preparation
  • Handle customer refunds, electronic fund transfer payments, and the administration of unapplied cash
  • General administrative duties (filing, data entry, etc.) 
  • Other accounting duties as needed 
  • Help within different departments as needed 

Requirements

  • Minimum of a 3 year  University Degree specializing in Accounting
  • Minimum 1-2 years of previous accounting experience 
  • Must have 2-3 years previous experience providing excellent customer service 
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment                      
  • Must have advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook 
  • Must have excellent communications skills both written and verbal 
  • Strong time management, prioritization and organizational skills 
  • Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently as well as in a team 

Compensation $15.00 per hour
