We are seeking a driven, technically skilled professional to join our Software & Graphics division. What You’ll Be Doing
  • Developing and maintaining SQL, LAN/WAN communications, historians and HMIs for utility/generation integrated solutions
  • Monitoring networks/VPNs of clients on a day-to-day basis, completing work on-site and remotely
  • Tackling internal IT needs, including new user set-up and systems maintenance
  • Working with an awesome multidisciplinary technical team to develop/contribute to conceptual designs, estimates, and proposals
  • Interacting with clients and subcontractors on behalf of the Software and Graphics division, managing projects and ensuring success
  • Generating project reports for operations monitoring

What We’re Looking For
  • A computer geek with work boots! You’re familiar with networking, HMI SCADA software/control system architecture, automation, SQL, and PLC/RTU programming. You’re a whiz with technology, but you’re also not afraid to go out into the field and get a bit dirty.
  • A background in mechanical engineering or engineering technology, or computer engineering or engineering technology, with a willingness to learn about electrical/utility power and industrial applications.
  • Microsoft Certified Professional, in depth knowledge of real-time systems overall communications, Modbus/DNP3 protocol, converter/concentrator and user interfaces
  • Experience in programming languages Java, Python and Microsoft Visual Basic (VB) preferred
  • Experience in virtualized computing environments
  • Knowledge of SEL, GE is preferred, while AutoCAD, Microsoft server/workstation and Office Applications are a must-have for this role
  • Strong attention to detail, high degree of accuracy in work and organizational skills
  • Motivation to learn new skills, assume new responsibilities and work cooperatively in a team environment
