Data Vehicle Operator ~ SW Ontario
  • One month contract with possible extension for future projects
  • Cartography experience preferred
  • Availability to travel is required
 
Kelly Services is currently recruiting Data Vehicle Operators to fill contract positions lasting 1 month for iLOOKABOUT Inc..
 
In this role, associates will be driving a specified route to photograph and collect data for iLOOKABOUT’s StreetScape imaging, and forwarding data back to the office at the end of each day. This role requires a driver to drive a unique way while the image and data capture is being collected (i.e. driving a designated route on a map and  maintaining a set speed while the collection is in progress). Camera mounted vehicles are provided.
 
Requirements:
  • The ability to read a map and a GPS (i.e. Garmin, TomTom etc.) and use the two in conjunction with each other
  • A strong aptitude of positional awareness while in the field
  • Must have basic computer and technical skills
  • Need to be detail oriented, able to multitask and maintain safe driving
  • Effective time management and organization skills are a must
  • Must  have motivation and aptitude for working independently
  • A valid driver’s license is required
  • Clear criminal background check and drivers abstract is required
  • Experience with GIS and/or digital cameras is an asset
  • Contract work for future projects is a strong possibility based on performance

  • Pay rate based on performance
  • Daytime hours only
 
Successful candidates will be screened by Kelly Services, but will be independently contracted by iLOOKABOUT for the duration of their agreement.
