Job Description

Pathways Skill Development & Placement Centre assists individuals to overcome multiple challenges to meaningful employment by providing employability assessments, job search strategies, skills training and employment placement services.
 
Pathways is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual to fill the available role of Light Industrial Training Coordinator. 
 
The LIT Coordinator will be responsible for all elements of a program designed to give individuals the necessary skills for employment in the light industrial and manufacturing fields. 
 
You bring 7-10 years experience in the light industrial and manufacturing sectors along with related facilitation experience.  You have current knowledge of industry processes, technology and regulations.  You are certified to teach WHMIS, forklift, and transportation of dangerous goods.  Your certification in the recent Working at Heights legislation is also a preferred asset.  Along with these industry skills, you have the ability to communicate, inspire and motivate people who bring a diverse set of circumstances and life situations to the task.  
 
In this role you will have the opportunity to facilitate training sessions, coach and mentor students, and network with employers to market the program and graduates.
