Our automotive manufacturing facility in St. Thomas, Ontario is currently recruiting for a Senior Quality Technician/CMM Programmer. Details of the position are outlined below.

Role Reports to:           Quality Supervisor

 Key Responsibilities:

• Create, maintain, and improve CMM programs for new and existing products utilizing GD&T principles
• Perform annual lay-outs for existing products using different measuring techniques as per customer requirements
• Manage, facilitate, and evaluate MSA studies on all required gauges and measurement devices
• Participate in APQP/PPAP process by performing initial product lay-outs
• Create, develop, and improve gauge standard operating procedures. Provide initial training on same.
• Train and support shop floor employees on data collection systems
• Support and liaise with production on quality related issues
• Performs all other duties as assigned by supervision

   Qualifications and education required: 

• College Diploma in an Engineering related discipline . Must have three to five years of experience in a manufacturing environment, automotive preferred.
• Experience in APQP, and PPAP  is an asset
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Statistical software (Minitab preferred)
