Job Description

If you love cars and working with the public this position will be of interest to you. Working at our dynamic collision repair shop as the Customer Service Representative (CSR) you will be the first point of contact for our customers. This role is critical in acting as the liaison between the customer and the production team, ensuring the most positive service experience during a difficult and stressful time. This broad position will see you specifically responsible for the following:

  • Greeting walk in and telephone customers in a courteous and friendly manner
  • Collect all relevant customer data and accurately set up new assignments in Summit (i.e. customer name, address, phone number, insurance company and adjuster, etc.)
  • Contacting customers to book estimates.
  • Co-ordinate set up of rental vehicles and communicate repair status to customer and the rental company as required.
  • Booking in repairs with customers.
  • Entering customer information into data base.
  • Make outbound calls to customers.
  • Create warranty packages for repair customers.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Previous car dealership experience would be an asset
  • Experience ordering parts on with shop management software
  • Problem solving skills a must
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
  • Proven ability and willingness to follow through on issues to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Able to handle multiple priorities in a busy work environment
  • Able to perform duties with minimal supervision
  • Proven ability to work harmoniously in a team environment
