In this 12 month contract you will be responsible for supporting production activities in a diversified facility for a world class organization
A typical day:
- Ensure accurate production reporting of materials, machine time and labor time
- Monitor and make adjustments, where required, for plant inventory
- Enter work orders and notifications for required maintenance activity
- Maintain levels of consumable production supplies
Further additional qualifications:
- Work with planning department on schedule creation, optimization, and distribution to production areas
- Assist production supervisors with administrative tasks related to staffing
Successful candidates will have:
- University degree or college diploma in business administration, supply chain/logistics, manufacturing operations or similar
- Technical proficiency with MS Office (Excel), experience & knowledge of ERP/MRP Systems; SAP experience an asset
- 1-2 years previous experience in a manufacturing environment
