ECHO Power Equipment (Canada), a leading distributor of outdoor power equipment is seeking a talented, team-oriented individual, dedicated to providing outstanding customer service and VIP Service to dealers across Canada in the role of
Accounts Payables Clerk
Reporting to the Controller, the Accounts Payables Clerk will ensure timely and accurate matching, reconciliation and data-entry of invoices for Inventory and non-inventory items. The successful candidate will possess strong attention to detail skills and be a positive team player.
Responsibilities Include:
· Reconcile all receiving documents and purchase orders to match invoices.
· Open, track and distribute Accounts Payables mail.
· Coding and data entry of approved invoices and credits.
· Maintain an organized and up-to-date invoice filing system.
· Maintain up-to-date vendor lists.
· Assist with the recording of banking transactions, journal entries and bank reconciliations.
· Develop and maintain effective relationships with vendor accounts.
· Other duties as assigned to assist the Finance department.
Key Qualifications:
· One to three years relevant experience in Accounts Payables.
· Experience with AS400 (an asset).
· Advanced skills in Windows applications including Outlook, Excel and Word.
· Demonstrated self-starter who works independently with minimal direction.
· Ability to work with confidential and sensitive material.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Demonstrated ability to work on cross-functional teams as directed.
· Careful attention to detail.
· Demonstrated commitment to excellence and lifelong learning.
