Truck Driver/Shipper/Receiver
 
Armo Tool is a  London based company that builds custom manufacturing solutions.  We work with automotive parts companies around the world to solve production challenges. 
 
With a highly skilled and empowered workforce we get to work on interesting and new challenges on a daily basis. 
 
Our staff is paid hourly and receive overtime after 40 hours.

This position is a temporary to permanent position..
 
Duties include but are not limited to:

• Contribute to our reputation as a customer service focused company
• Communicate material requirement issues or delay of material shipment to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with shipping and receiving when not doing deliveries or pick ups
• Load and unload trucks, lifting up to 50 pounds
• Material handler
• Accurate and timely receiving and grading of incoming material
• Clears production area by securing and moving finished pallets
• Schedule most efficient route of delivery and communicate with Shipping and Receiving Coordinator
• Other general Warehouse duties as required

You must have the ability to:

• Self-direct with little supervision;
• Handle multiple tasks concurrently with frequent interruptions
• Work under pressure
• Problem solve and determine alternate options to ensure on time material delivery
• Anticipate, understand and respond to the needs of external and internal customers
• Ability to use forklift and crane in congested areas
• Abide by Health and Safety protocols
• Must have strong communication skills and the ability to converse professionally with customers (both internal and external)
• Experience operating an overhead crane is an asset

Requirements:

• Valid Ontario DZ or AZ License
• Over the age of 25 for insurance purposes
• Clean Driver’s abstract and CVOR
• Valid forklift Certification with 3-5 years’ experience
• Excellent time management skills with proven attention to detail
• Basic vehicle safety maintenance
• Physically fit
• Available to work extended hours including evening and weekends
• High School Diploma
