Job Description

Marketing Coordinator
Full-time, 2 year contract position

Positioned at the heart of the arts, cultural and educational communities, the London Children’s Museum provides positive, hands-on learning experiences to children and families. As Canada’s first children’s museum, our mission is to foster a community of innovation where children learn, connect and grow through play. Each year, the Children’s Museum welcomes nearly 90,000 visitors who participate in school education programs, workshops, day camps, self-guided visits and more.
The Children’s Museum is entering a very exciting time in our history. The time we have spent in our beloved building has meant a lot of play, laughter, and learning. It’s also seen a lot of wear, and the maintenance needs and cost of running the Children’s Museum in the current building are extensive. And so, it’s time to look for a new space, a new dream, a new future so that the essence and spirit of the Children’s Museum can continue. During our time of transition, it’s business as usual. We are open, and we look forward to having families continue to visit us.
Position Description:
Reporting to the Director of Development & Communications, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the implementation of the Children’s Museum’s strategic marketing plan during the transition to our new space and upcoming capital fundraising campaign.
