We are a manufacturer of insulation components for the oil filled power and transformer market located in London, Ontario. We are currently looking for entry level production staff to join our team at our London manufacturing facility as we continue to grow.

Operators will train with experienced staff and learn to produce complex electrical insulation products using a variety of hand tools and equipment. An operator must follow company policies and procedures, safety procedures and regulations, including wearing clear safety glasses and safety shoes.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

• Ability to train to operate woodworking hand tools.
• Ability to use simple measurement tools such as tape measures, calipers and rules.

• High school diploma preferred.
• Ability to train on specific equipment such as saws, routers, sanders and drills.
• Ability to follow simple drawings and work instructions to produce insulation components.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow instructions to produce insulation components using various tools and equipment.

• Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Typical hand and arm movements required to load and unload work in process.

• Produce insulation components to proper drawing specifications.
• Follow all guidelines and procedures related to specifications and health and safety requirements.

Starting wage for positions is $13.00 to $14.00 depending on experience with a comprehensive benefit program and Group Retirement Savings Plan.
