Job Description

We are looking for a creative, fun, professional and positive person to join our team! The individual in this position will take on multiple roles within our Visitor Experiences department. Working at the front desk, this team member will provide exceptional customer service while processing admissions, memberships, bookings and camp registrations. This team member will also work with the Visitor Experiences team delivering daily programs, birthday parties and outreaches as scheduled. Key Responsibilities: 
•    Provide and model exceptional customer service to all visitors, ensuring all guests have a positive Children’s Museum experience
•    Deliver high-quality, fun and engaging programs, birthday parties, community outreach programs and Star Shows
•    Tidy and stock exhibits and materials, and engage with visitors throughout the museum
•    Process admissions, sales, memberships and bookings
•    Answer front desk phone calls, emails and inquiries
•    Execute accurate cash handing and point of sale procedures 
•    Accept all other duties as required
Skills & Requirements:

•    Enthusiasm for working with children and families (previous experience is an asset)
•    Demonstrated passion for providing exceptional customer service
•    Excellent time management and multitasking skills 
•    Ability to work both independently and within a team in a fast paced environment
•    Strong verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
•    Experience managing cash, debit and credit card transactions 
•    Child and Infant First Aid and CPR training
•    Valid Police Check
•    Ability to work weekends, holidays and some Friday evenings

Education: Education and/or related experience in customer service, retail, early childhood education and/or museum studies.
