The London Transit Commission is currently recruiting for both a Truck and Coach Mechanic and a Truck and Coach Bodyman. The successful candidate must possess the ability to deal effectively with multiple priorities, be familiar with health and safety practices, have the ability to work within a team environment and have effective organizational and communication skills. Job requirements specific to each position are listed below.
 
310T Truck and Coach Mechanic (full time)
 
Wage:        $32.06/hour
Benefits:    Comprehensive pension and benefit package
Shift:          Afternoon or Midnight (to be determined)
 
Successful candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:
  • Valid 310T Truck and Coach License
  • Holds a valid Ontario G Class driver’s license (mandatory upgrade requirement to a B or C class license)
  • Valid Air Brake (Z) endorsement
  • Related diesel experience (Cummins Diesel preferred)
 
310B Truck and Coach Bodyman (full time)
 
Wage:        $32.06/hour
Benefits:    Comprehensive pension and benefit package
Shift:         Day or Afternoon (to be determined)
 
Successful candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:
  • “310B” certificate – autobody repair person license in good standing
  • Holds a valid Ontario G Class driver’s license (mandatory upgrade requirement to a B or C class license)
  • Valid Air Brake (Z) endorsement
