Join the Sunshine Float for Dreams Event Crew at the 2^nd annual Sunshine Float for Dreams and help make a difference in your community.  On Saturday, June 17^th several communities in southwestern Ontario will come together for an exciting, team-based fundraising event, where hundreds of participants will float down the Grand River between Paris, ON and Brantford, ON, while raising funds to fulfill Dreams for Sunshine Kids!

At The Sunshine Foundation of Canada, we help children with severe physical disabilities or life-threatening illnesses realize that nothing can stand in the way of a dream. By fulfilling dreams, we help Sunshine Kids build confidence in their ability to pursue other goals.

Event Crew Volunteers are needed to support this amazing event: 

Qualifications/Skill Set:

• Able to work well as a part of a team
• Approachable, outgoing and FUN!
• Event experience would be great
• Able to handle some lifting

Key Responsibilities may include:

• Registering and welcoming participants
• Collecting participant info and distributing materials
• Directing participants
• Assisting with on-water challenges and on-site activities
• Setting up and tearing down event site
• Sharing information about Sunshine’s mission

Requirements:

• Available Friday, June 16^th or Saturday, June 17^th in Brant County, ON (only 1 hour from London)
• Available to attend a volunteer orientation session in London or Brantford the week of June 5^th.  Exact date, location and time to be confirmed.   
• Must be 18+ (16+ if accompanied by an adult)
