Business Intelligence Data Warehouse Architect
StarTech.com is currently looking for a Business Intelligence Data Warehouse Architect to join our IT team at our Corporate Office in London, Ontario.
Reporting to the Manager, Data Governance, the BI Data Warehouse Architect makes an impact by designing, creating, implementing, and maintaining data structures and process flows to support the transformation of data into actionable intelligence for the business. The BI Data Warehouse Architect interacts with many departments across the business including Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, and Finance. This position offers a competitive salary, bonus potential, and benefit package.

What You Will Gain
- A collaborative environment where you work with Business Analysts, Data Governance, and the Project Manager to understand the scope of work, priorities, and requirements for the data solution. You will recommend, analyze, and deploy data quality enhancements to the data acquisition and transformation processes to improve accuracy of data warehouse data and other company data assets.
- A chance to design:
- Databases and Data Warehouses to ensure interoperability with existing BI and Business Operations solutions
- ETL processes to load and transform data from diverse sources
- Data Cubes to satisfy business requirements, while maintaining and optimizing existing Cube assets
- End-to-end B.I. solutions from data source to reports or analysis
- An opportunity to assess and cultivate long-term strategic goals for data warehousing and B.I. tools in conjunction with data users, department managers, clients, and other key stakeholders
- Previous experience in full BI implementation and development lifecycle, using Microsoft BI stack
- Demonstrated design and data modelling skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft SSAS, with a thorough understanding of designing and building OLAP Cubes
- Data Warehouse and Design experience, and the respective methodologies
