Brescia is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to fill a position as: 
                                                                                                         
Senior Recruitment & Outreach Officer
(Contract Full Time Position – one year)
Rate - $32.66 per hour


The Senior Recruitment & Outreach Coordinator reports to the Director of Recruitment and Admissions and supports the implementation of Brescia’s strategic enrolment plan. The incumbent provides logistical support to on- and off-campus programs and events; coordination with Western, King’s, and Huron recruitment colleagues; development of recruitment messaging and materials; leadership to the Girls LEAD summer camp program; and organization of Brescia’s summer orientation programming. The incumbent has a direct impact on the university’s success, reputation, and successful implementation of enrolment targets.

In this role you will:
  • Organize, coordinate, and implement all on-campus (campus tour program, Open Houses, school visits, conferences, Girls LEAD summer camps, etc.) and off-campus events (school visits, Ontario Universities’ Fair participation, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners (i.e., Guidance Counsellors, varsity coaches, education partners, community partners, etc.) through communications, planning, and implementing on- and off-campus events.
  • Be responsive to initiatives that may arise through external partners or internal initiatives to bring students and/or stakeholders to campus.
  • Track recruitment activities for reach and impact.
  • Maintain and update the CRM system.
  • Coordinate and collaborate where appropriate with Western, King’s, and Huron recruitment colleagues and groups (recruitment training, event representation, etc.).
  • Coordinate recruitment training and supervise the Student Ambassador Team.
  • Work collaboratively with the Communications, Marketing & External Relations Department to develop recruitment and admissions specific messaging and publications (Viewbook, brochures, displays, etc.) as well as web and social media initiatives.
  • Lead the development and oversee the delivery of the Girls LEAD summer camp program including supervising staff and work-study students, coordinating with campus facilities, and evaluating programming.
  • Lead the design and delivery of Brescia’s summer orientation program.

Requirements of the role include:
  • University degree or suitable equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of related experience in post-secondary student recruitment.
  • Valid “G” driver’s license and passport.
  • Willingness to travel to both domestic and international locations.
  • Experience and understanding of the diverse needs of post-secondary students with a focus on what engages and appeals to students.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills and ability to interact positively with prospective students, parents, guidance counselors, institution partners, and the general public in a variety of settings.
  • Strong professional writing, public speaking, and presentation development skills.
  • Excellent project management, time management, and planning capabilities to prioritize multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines with a diverse workload.
  • Excellent customer service, sales, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and collaboratively in a team environment, while exercising good judgment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook, and experience with Abode Creative Suite.
  • Experience with data collection, data analysis, and working with databases or Customer Service Management tools. Experience working with Peoplesoft and Salesforce is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply creativity, innovation, and resourcefulness to daily work.
  • Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work within a flexible schedule to accommodate the University’s events and activities.
