Job Description
CAD Drafter
Our London area manufacturing client is recruiting for a CAD Drafter to join their busy and growing team. This is an immediate requirement for a 3-4 month contract position. Preference will be given to candidates who can start immediately. Long term potential is possible for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Create and sketch design concepts to meet technical requirements.
- Technical drawing interpretation and creation in accordance with ASME Y14.100 and associated standards.
- Develop 3D models using Solidworks 2012.
- Liaise with other departments within the company to ensure others have the necessary information required to meet the projects requirements.
- 1 to 2 years Solidworks experience.
- Knowledge of metallic design, manufacturing and associated welding practices a strong asset.
- Proven ability to effectively trouble shoot and problem solve.
- Flexible, quick learner.
