Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Join a progressive team where safety and quality are the cornerstones of their success! You will have a chance to work for an industry leader in automotive metal stamping and modular assembly. If you have the ambition, we have the role! You will either be operating a press (stamping), operating a robotic/nut welder or doing general assembly.
WAGE
$13.00/hr
HOURS-STRAIGHT SHIFTS
Day Shift: 6:45am-3:00pm Monday-Friday
Afternoon Shift: 2:45pm-11:00pm Monday-Friday
Midnights:10:45pm-7:00am Sunday-Friday
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
o Previous manufacturing experience is an asset but not necessary
o Must have good hand-eye coordination and math skills
o Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, & have good attention to detail
o Must be able to complete repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods of time
o Must be able to work in noisy/dusty environments
o Must be able to supply own CSA approved safety boots and glasses
o Must have reliable transportation
RESPONSIBILITIES
o Working in production; setting up and operating welding/assembly machinery
o Checking products for quality, correct dimensions and other specifications
o Meeting daily and hourly production quotas
o Documenting all production records (computerized)
o Maintaining a clean working environment
