Job Description
Design Group London has contract opportunities for Second Class Stationary Engineers for a manufacturing plant in London, ON. This is a seasonal contract starting Oct/Nov 2014.

Role overview:
The ideal candidate will operate a broad range of equipment and machinery related to the provision of uninterrupted mechanical and electrical power and utility services within the plant; you will operate and maintain equipment that may include boilers, furnaces, pumps, turbines, turbo-alternators, cooling towers, utilities distribution systems, pollution abatement, and water treatment facilities.
The incumbent will supervise, direct and coordinate the efforts of employees to keep the operations running at maximum efficiency with minimum interruption.
The selected candidate will also provide technical assistance to Engineering, Maintenance and Production groups, while respecting all procedures and meeting current compliance standards.
Requirements:
A minimum 2nd Class Operating/Stationary/Power Engineer Certificate
5+ years of experience in an industrial setting is preferred
Demonstrate a high level of computer proficiency and have very good oral and written communication skills
Position may require handling heavy loads that could exceed 20 pounds
Flexibility is required to work a combination of 8 &12 hours shifts
