Job Description
We are looking for an Entry Level Electrical Technician for a permanent full-time position at our London location. The candidate must have the basic electrical fundamentals, automation, and power generation and distribution knowledge. Industrial Electrician apprenticeship is available.

Definite assets:
- Must have proven technical skills and abilities and experience with electrical assembly.
- Able to read engineering drawings and wiring schematics.
- Trouble-shoots PLC’s and relay logic controls.
- Installs conduit, pulling wire and cable.
- Wires control panels, and enclosures.
- Wires Automation equipment.
- Wires Automation sensors, 3 Phase motors, and pneumatic systems.
- Day to day trouble shooting, repair and installation of low and high voltage (single/three phase) industrial electromechanical & control systems for production equipment.
Requirements:
- Able to read engineering drawings and wiring schematics.
- Ability to use basic hand tools.
- Understanding of electrical / electronic schematic diagrams, blueprints and pneumatic systems.
- Adheres to all safety requirements including lockout / tagout procedures.
- Performs work as a team member to assist in the completion of assigned tasks.
- Comply with all safety rules, company policies and guidelines.
- Ability to work safely, while maintaining quality at a high efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills, plus the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a busy environment with minimal supervision.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma required.
- Certificate of Qualification or Certificate in a related field or equivalent working experience. Two or three year course of the Electrical Engineering Technician or Technologist course is preferred.
- Prior experience working with Allen Bradley, and Fanuc Robotics.
- Experience in electrical service and maintenance.
- Must have experience working with and around low voltage and high voltage.
- Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot equipment wiring.
- Knowledge of and ability to wire/troubleshoot relay logic.
- Knowledge of and ability to wire/troubleshoot PLC logic.
