Job Description
As a Buyer/Estimator your responsibilities will include managing vendor relationships, negotiating pricing, keeping our database updated, conducting supplier evaluations, estimating project cost and preparing quotations, procurement of materials, communicating effectively with customers, suppliers and shop floor staff.

- Quoting/Estimating (QMSM-1011)
- Purchasing (QMSM-1005)
- Ensuring purchased materials arrive on time
- Reducing materials costs via strategic sourcing and negotiating with vendors
- Manage vendor relationships
- Ensure the availability of parts
- Source alternative parts in partnership with Project Managers
- Working with the Production Manager to ensure on-time delivery of projects
- College Diploma or University Degree
- 3-5 years experience in procurement
- Experience in the industrial automation industry preferred
- Professional, punctual and responsible
- Effective communication skills
- Team player
