Job Description
Design Group Staffing, London office is currently recruiting for a Safety Product Trainer for our large science-based client that produces a variety of products. They are a leader in markets from health care and highway safety to office products along with abrasives and adhesives.
NOTE: This is a long-term contract position which involves 20-25 hours per week. Please submit resumes to agleam@dg.ca
Job Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be engaging and professional in providing Safety Product Training presentations to selected distributors throughout Southwestern Ontario. You will be comfortable speaking and presenting in front of groups, doing product demos, create, update and confidently present presentations using multiple tools including PowerPoint.
Maintain communications with Product Safety Department Training and Service manager and sales force to advise account situations and opportunities.
Maintain updates and current calendar of projects via Google calendar.
Candidates must have their own vehicle as you will be required to drive to geographies across Southwestern Ontario; overnight travel on occasion will be required.
Job Qualifications:
CRSP or University degree
Experience in the safety business is preferred
Excellent communication, organization and people skills
