We are currently seeking two candidates for full time Product Quality Technicians on a 6 month contract to work within our Product Quality Team. Reporting to the Supervisor, Product Quality, the Product Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring StarTech.com products are manufactured to correct specifications.

We are currently seeking two candidates for full time Product Quality Technicians on a 6 month contract to work within our Product Quality Team. Reporting to the Supervisor, Product Quality, the Product Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring StarTech.com products are manufactured to correct specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct tests on StarTech.com products (such as cables, I/O cards, data switches)
- Enter test results into database (pass/fail)
- Possesses strong time management skills
- Has a great attention to detail
- Has an interest and the aptitude to learn about computer hardware products (what they are, what they do)
- Can stay motivated during repetitive tasks
- Has a passion for Customer Service
- Is able to create and update accurate records related to product quality testing and resolution
- Familiarity with computer hardware products would be helpful
- Is able to bend, lift, and move pallets of product as required in our Lab and Warehouse environments. Steel toed footwear is required.
- Can commit to a 6 month contract position
- Conducting quality audits (visual and/or functional)
- Familiarity with RMA’s
- Experience in MS Office including Excel and Outlook
- Exposure to Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Some knowledge of quality processes, inspections and test procedures
- Post-secondary diploma in Technology or Electronics would be an asset
