Job Description
One of our reputable London based clients is looking to hire a Jr-Intermediate Software Developer for a 3 month contract to fulltime emploment. The Jr-Intermediate Software Developer responsibilities include: Develops requirements, architectures, designs, implementation tests and supporting systems software to meet the needs of manufacturers, dealerships and companies applications software. Primarily work in design, coding, testing, and supporting software products/related materials to meet customer requirements.
Work in a variety of disciplines, stressing the ability to analyze development processes. Perform tasks using formal software development methodologies and specified R&D and/or departmental procedures. Provide feedback for decisions regarding intra-project priorities. Works with the documentation and QA groups to complete development process. Provide technical and consulting leadership to small teams of systems developers and other project staff. Review plans, requirements, designs and codes for appropriateness and provide suggestions for improvement. Actively participate in the integration, testing and troubleshooting of teams' products using internal tests on location and at customer test sites. Act as a key resource in problem identification and working it to resolution. Develop requirements, design implements and tests the critical system software products to meet product requirements. Provide suggestions for improving processes and standards to ensure the quality of internal and client documentation.
Requirements:
Must have knowledge of the following: SQL, Jquery, Ul Design, LANSA, CSS, Visual Basic, C, C++, Java, C#.
Must have experience working in an AGILE and Lansa environment.
Minimum 1-3 years programming experience required.
Good understanding and experience in using SQL and SQL-based tools.
Developer must have technical expertise with ingenuity, product and industry knowledge.
Must be a College Graduate with IT related education at minimum.
Additional Requirements:
Ability to troubleshoot technical problems and demonstrate problem solving skills.
Great communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work as a team member, with limited supervision.
Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Demonstrated time management and completion of tasks to a definite deadline.
Training and experience with current software development methodologies and processes preferable.
