Summary of position
The Accounts Receivable Analyst – Healthcare is responsible for providing accurate support required to maintain the efficient operation of the accounts receivable area and assists in the completion of general accounting functions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Post cheques as required.
- Document payments differing from customers’ account.
- Handle all credit calls.
- Release orders as required.
- Open new accounts.
- Run order and sales register daily.
- Prepare customer weekly invoice summaries.
- Prepare month-end statements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Key qualifications
Experience and Education (diploma, degree, or professional designation):
College Accounting/Business Diploma is an asset.
2 to 3 years previous accounts receivable, data entry and general accounting experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):
Mathematical perception, intermediate computer literacy, strong analytical skills, accurate data entry, organization and prioritization skills, customer etiquette and conflict resolution skills, able to handle a large volume of work.
