Job Description
We are now seeking a technical summer student to join our Quality/Engineering department. This position will provide support to the organization in terms of quality and continuous improvement initiatives and programs.

This is a full time fixed term position (Summer Months) with a competitive compensation package. The position will start as soon as possible and is based in London, Ontario.

Job Duties:
- Preparation of reports and findings related to quality issues and any customer reported non conformances.
- Collection of data where particular studies and manufacturing capabilities are being analyzed.
- Participation in and support for the team during any customer visits or audits.
- Preparation of summaries and action plans for continuous improvement activities.
- Highlight potential quality issues and follow up with production staff to ensure verification
- Work closely with Supervision and other personnel during improvement activities.
- Control and update work sheets, process flows, specifications, and drawings, as required.
Qualifications:
- Enrolment is a suitable and related technical program at the University or College level
- Proficiency with blueprint reading and understanding of current drawing standards.
- Solid understanding of metrology and systems of measurement.
- Computer literacy and basic understanding of CAD software.
- Exceptional people skills
- Excellent report writing ability
