ADECCO, on behalf of our client, is recruiting for a FULL TIME, PERMANENT Industrial Electrician.  This is a direct hire through the client.  A terrific opportunity to continue your career with a JIT facility with a new state of the art assembly line. 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN

In this role, under the direction of the maintenance and production supervisor on the off shifts you will be responsible for:
 
  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery by way of working on Electrical and Mechanical, process, instrumentation equipment, in a safe manner.
  • Determining causes of operating errors and resolving breakdowns
  • Work with production supervisors to resolve production problems and report when tasks are complete.
  • Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed. Report back same.
  • Enhancing the effectiveness of equipment to improve productivity, apply continuous improvement concepts.
  • Completing and maintaining a maintenance log.
  • Assisting in selection of parts and sending out repairable parts ( to be shipped out.)
  • Taking corrective actions to prevent re-occurrences of common breakdowns, reporting back to management and entry into the maintenance log,
  • Highly experienced in inspecting and repairing Electrical, Mechanical equipment troubleshooting, & follow-up to repairs made.
  • -using hand tools and electrical metering / testing equipment in a safe manner.
  • Preform preventive & predictive  maintenance, report outcome of any and all findings



QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN
  • MUST be a fully licensed electrician
  • 3-5 years experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of predictive and preventative maintenance
  • Ability to always drill down to the root cause of a breakdown and take appropriate actions as required to get good results,
  • Good communication and reporting skills with others and management.
  • Take measurements, review data, compare to OEM specifications, setup and adjust equipment to work properly based of this information.
  • Training and good knowledge of Arc flash  and how and where to use it
  • Self-directed individual, continuous improvement driven
  • Working knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Some background in 5s and lean manufacturing
  • Must be able to work in a team based concept
  • Must be willing to learn new procedures and concepts.
  • From time to time must be able to work at heights.
  • Follow and apply company A.O.S.’s, always work in a safe manner and follow lockout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Watching out for their safety and the safety of others.
  • Always use the correct PPE.
